Suggested Use: Add 1 level scoop to 8 oz of your favorite cold beverage (water, milk, almond milk, etc…) Mix in a shaker or hand blender for a smooth creamy shake. Take 1 serving 60 minutes before training and another serving immediately after training. On non-training days take first thing in the morning and before bed. Can be used in between meals as well for added protein throughout the day.

Q & A

Q: "Why do a blended protein?"
A: While straight proteins like “whey” have their place and time, blended proteins in clinical studies have shown to give you greater gains by providing higher levels of plasma amino acids which are needed to stay in positive nitrogen balance. A positive nitrogen balance keeps your body “anabolic” which means you are in a continual state of muscle growth and repair.

Q: "Why do you use milk and whey and not other combinations?"
A: Milk and whey proteins are the most studied proteins in our industry and they repeatedly score higher than egg proteins which for years was the gold standard when measuring proteins. We also use whey protein 80% and whey protein isolate 90%...why is this important? Whey protein concentrate ranges from 34% - 80% protein levels. Obviously the 34% is a much cheaper product and contains more fat, ash and lactose…none of which are ideal ingredients for building lean muscle. If it does not state 80% protein, assume that they are using a cheaper version of whey protein concentrate (WPC). Clinical Protein only uses the highest quality ingredients.

Q: "What is the split between the whey proteins and milk protein?"
A: Our split is a 60:40 ratio of whey to milk proteins. This provides optimal balance and versatility so you can take Clinical Protein anytime throughout the day, night, pre-workout or post-workout.

Q: "Why add MCT’s, isn’t saturated fat bad for you?"
A: Great question. Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT’s) are unique fatty acids that have a wide range of benefits. They do not metabolize through the normal digestion process but are broken down very quickly and taken straight to the liver where they are converted into energy (not fat) fuel for your muscles and organs. Numerous studies have shown MCT’s to help improve metabolism, control blood sugar, help with appetite and possibly help to sharpen blood lipid panels. In fact, recent studies show that consuming MCT’s greatly enhance thermogenesis. MCT’s are also used to make ketones, which is rocket fuel for your brain. Anyone trying to keep the carbs lower needs MCT’s in their diet!

Q: "I’ve heard a lot about “protein spiking” lately, how do I know all the protein is coming from the whey and milk?"
A: This has been a black eye for the industry and one of many reasons why we started Clinical Sports Labs - if we are not making it and/or testing it ourselves…we don’t trust it! Clinical Protein has NO added amino acids, creatine or any other ingredient that can provide nitrogen to “fool” a protein test. We test every batch to ensure you are getting the right amount of high quality whey and milk proteins in each serving.

Q: "Do you recommend a shaker or a blender?"
A: Either. Clinical Protein mixes very easily and can be hand blended with your favorite beverage including water, juice or almond milk by adding one scoop to 8-10 ounces of liquid and shaking. Because of the superior taste profile, you can also mix it in a blender or a juicer and create an awesome smoothie. Try using Vanilla Ice Cream as a base and adding almond milk, natural apple sauce, one natural graham cracker and a pinch of cinnamon to make “Clinical Protein – Apple Pie”! The options are limitless.

    Vanilla Ice Cream Clinical Protein has converted me into a vanilla lover! This protein is perfect in a shaker or added into oats, pancakes, waffles,etc. the yumminess is off the charts!!! Sweet craving? Try a scoop of this stuff to help stay on track.
