Q: Do I need to load? A: No, you do not need to load but for quicker results, you can. For loading take 20g per day (5g spread out over 4 servings throughout the day) for 5 days. After the loading phase, drop down to 5 to 10g per day. Q: Do I need to take creatine with sugar? A No. While insulin is a great transporter it is not needed when taking creatine. You can use water, a protein shake or whatever beverage you would normally consume. Q: When is the best time to take creatine monohydrate? A: Preworkout and/or post workout are the best times. Many pre and post workout supplements already contain creatine so read the labels carefully. On non-workout days, take it with your first meal. Q: Do I need to drink a lot of water while taking creatine? A: Yes. Try to consume 6-8 8oz glasses of water per day.
